Weather Update: High pressure ridge across Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Meteorological Service of Jamaica (Met Service) has reported a high pressure ridge across Jamaica as well as a low-level jet across the central Caribbean.

The Met Service said the high pressure ridge is expected to remain across the island for the rest of the week.


Meanwhile, windy conditions are expected to persist mainly across northern parishes through totomorrow.

This morning and afternoon are expected to be partly cloudy across sections of northern and hilly inland areas, but mainly sunny elsewhere.

Tonightis expected to be mainly fair.
